These last 2 weeks have been some of the best days and worst days. I will be honest and say that these have been 2 hard weeks. With living in a tent, not showering every day, meeting 40 new people, days being pack full of things, hard messages and just being away from home. With that being said I have made new friendships that will last a life time, worshiped with amazing people, played games, laughed, cried and all in between. I have loved getting to know everyone and learning to adjust to the new normal.

These 2 weeks spiritually have been very hard. I came into training camp feeling like a bad Christian because I knew less than others, didn’t pray or worship like others. Just constantly talking down on myself and comparing myself to others. But I have come to learn and am still learning that it doesn’t matter how much you know, how you worship or pray because God loves you no matter what. He wants you to grow and know him, to know his love for you. He wants you to do it in your own time and to not compare yourself to others because everyone is at different levels with their faith.

One thing about living in community 24/7 is that there are so many people with very different backgrounds and points of views. This can be a beautiful or terrible thing. Which ever way you look at it. I choice to look at it, as a learning opportunity. To learn more about the Bible from others, to learn their stories and their history. To get to know and love others. Not saying it has been easy in anyway. But that’s the beauty of community there are tons of people who you can lean on in hard times.

With all this being said I can’t wait for the next 9 months and all it has to offer.
