With only 3 days left till we leave for Guatemala, I have just been reflecting on all that I have done, accomplished and learned. I have managed to make a group of 45 strangers my family. Going each day without knowing what it will look like and just trusting in those around me, but most importantly God. I am still learning to find the light in every situation and live my life like Jesus. I am learning to find joy in the mundane, to find the beauty in the ugly. I am no where near where I want to be in my relationship with God, with people and with myself. But being here in Gainesville has shown me a glimpse of what the next 7 1/2 months will look like with these people. I could not be more excited for that!

As usual here are some photos of the last couple of weeks and the amazing people I am with:

  1. I’m praying for a smooth flight over and that God continues to work in you and through you. Guatemala doesn’t know what’s headed their way…an outpouring of love just as Jesus taught!!

  2. I am so excited for you and what is right around the corner. I don’t just mean your trip to Guatemala and all the adventures that will bring but also your journey in finding your relationship with God. You will have good times and bad times but just know that your friends and family believe in you but more importantly God is behind you. Love you

  3. Guatemala is the next destination for the path you are on. Keep following that path, and with the support and love of the amazing group of your fellow Racers and family, the path will get brighter and God will bless you for your pure heart. Jesus set out on his own path to spread the word of God, and along the way, he helped those in need. It’s what you will be doing for the next 7 ½ months, and He will notice. Everyone is so proud of you!! Love you!
