Hi, My name is Hannah Lauritzen and I have decided to follow God’s callings and be apart of the World Race! In September of 2022 I will begin my 9 month long journey through Costa Rica, Romania, Eswatini, and South Africa. In these countries I will be helping with children’s ministry, community outreach, evangelism, teaching English and spreading the word of God. I am so excited to start this journey and how I will impact world and the people around me! When I first heard of the world race I in awe of what they were doing and knew I had to be apart of it. Never did I imagine that I would actually be living my dream out and be going on the World Race!
Now a little back story to me, I grew up in Leander, Texas with two loving parents and one amazing sister. I am about to be starting my senior year… crazy! I am nervous but excited for what is to come in the next year. I play volleyball for my high school team and I love to be active, whether that is playing sports, skate boarding, paddle boarding, or just being outside it makes me so happy. Being with the people I love, my family, friends, small group makes life so much better. Those people make the process of applying for the World Race and actually getting accepted and going so much easier. I am so excited for what God has in store for me and the adventures and memories I will have from this experience!
