Team Kaleo works with a ministry called Reindom. I know I have talked about them before but I want to go a little more in-depth. They are a group of unemployed 18-30 year olds who whole heartedly serve the lord each day. They rely completely on donations to fund the supplies and food for the kids they help. They are some of the kindest, funniest, caring, and giving people I have ever met. They let volunteers stay at their house all the time, and give whatever they have to those in need. Three times a week they feed, teach, and hangout with the kids in a village called Santa Marta. They also work with the homeless, alcoholic and drug addicts of Sumpongo. They stay up super late planning, hanging out and just serving the lord to wake up early to do it all again. They are the most energetic and full of life people I know. Unfortunately, they have been low on donations lately. All donations are going to the kids and people they help. The money is used to buy food, supplies, and to make sure the people they serve feel loved. So if you feel called to help in any sort of way, you can do so through donations, sharing, and praying.
