Hi, my name is Hannah Lauritzen and I am going to be on a 9 month long journey through Costa Rica, Romania, Eswatini, and South Africa. When I first heard about the World Race I thought it was the most amazing thing ever. I would watch past racers videos thinking about how I would love to go one day. Here I am about to be a senior and going on the World Race! I knew I had to go because what they were doing and what I will be doing is just so unbelievable. At my church every summer we have a thing called Camp 75, where you have a team of like 10 people and going to homes all around the city of Austin and host a 75 minute camp of spreading the word of God. You play games, sing songs and just love on the kids for a week. It is one of the best experiences ever, just getting to know new people and spreading the word of God to kids. That camp has helped me find my way to God and was a big part of me choosing to do the world race. I just love growing in my relationships with people and God. I know that through the World Race I will be able to do both and impact the communites that we are in.
